Among people who meet “people” there’s sometimes a fear that the “person” you’re meeting will not live up to the hype. I’m pleased to say that Jack Horner lives up to the hype.
To promote the Science Center’s annual Gala, we came up with the idea of dumping 35 tons of sand into a man-made 1600sqft pit. Then, we buried 60 bones from 8 species of dinosaur.
It was awesome. Jack came in to help us open the dig. He was welcoming, easy-going, fun, and completely unintimidated by the kids.
He also got a kick out of these dinosaur costumes and took at least five pictures of them hanging around the dig site. Thanks for coming to meet some awesome kids and show us a thing or two about paleontology in our Dino Dig, Jack! You’re phenomenal.
